Artist’s Statement
The passion of letting go into the creative process has matured into a steady discipline. In my process, I am working to have the visionary and the technical be equally profound. To paint the light seeing through the surface of visible reality into the depths of the
internal landscape. To embrace the source and essence of the subject. Maintaining a surface tension (i.e. appearances) creates the fabric of the world as we know it. When an object is lit from within it casts no shadow. To wrap myself around an element of nature, I ride the tip of my brush.
