Carmen’s paintings take as their subject the people she meets and places she lives or visits. Her family was displaced after WWII. They immigrated to the Sunshine Coast in 1953- Carmen was 4 yrs old.
An opportunity to live in Upstate New York from 1975-1990, opened doors to self-discovery and self-realization as an artist.
She has shown and sold her work privately, in galleries, and other settings. Now, to her delight she has her own, “Hidden Gem” studio gallery to display her work.
