Roisin Sheehy-Culhane owned and operated the retail store Great Balls of Wool in Powell River for 13 years. She has been knitting and loving wool for over 60 years. Living in Ireland she learned to make Aran Island Design sweaters at an early age with an appreciation for natural wool.
Currently she is focused on her studio in Lund situated adjacent to her home. She continues to create original designs and patterns from local inspirations. The Lundie Hoodie for babies and toddlers, The Texada Time Wrap Poncho, the Salish Sea Vest are samples of her creative work. She offers classes and advice for knitters as well as an eclectic range of wool and yarns to choose from.
