Lauren Everall holds a BFA in Visual Art (ECUAD) and a BEd in Art Education (UBC) and is an artist currently working in Ceramics from her home studio near Lund, BC. Everall’s ceramic work is process oriented and the larger hand built forms arrive from intuitive material conversations, slowly and unhurried. Her painting and sculpture background heavily inform her clay works alongside her observations of the textural landscapes and colours of the bioregions that Everall immerses herself in. Her current clay work ranges from wheel thrown functional vessels to large hand built vases, sculptures and furniture works, fired in oxidation: intentional offerings of deep delight and landed joy.
