The main concerns and focus of my activities as an artist are to express the though process, as well as feelings and concepts that affect me as an artist and as a human-being living in the world of today. To be able to express the important issues facing us all in my own way through art while always pushing and stretching the many different ways to achieve this.
This process works as a constant flow of energy and I have personally found this to work for my growing creativity and self evolution.
The way in which we can affect the perception of our own reality, and the energy around us by expressing ourselves, this is something that always keeps me motivated, this is why is very important to have an intention at the moment of creation, to give a purpose to that expression, and in that way manifest the impact that you want to have on the world around you.
Christian Borrego was originally born in Guadalajara, Mexico and moved from an early age to the state of Sinaloa were he spent his childhood. He currently resides in Powell River B.C. Canada. He studied at the University of Fine Arts in Guadalajara Jalisco and University of Fine Arts in Oaxaca, Oaxaca.
