I was born into a family of artists and was exposed to creating when I was really young. It has been a passion my whole life. I have worked with charcoal, oils, watercolours and I am currently working with acrylics. I took graphic design and photography in college and I now use both of these skills to produce a finished painting. I am experimenting with coloured glazes in water scenes with colourful mystical fish. This subject grew from fish dreams I have been having since childhood. I decided to put them on canvas and in so doing maybe hear what these fish have been saying to me for so long. As well as these fish I am painting local landscapes and figures. I use a limited palette with as little as three colours to create a cohesive story. I love living in Powell River and everything coastal life has to offer.
