The Timberlane Fine Arts Association promotes fine arts and craftsmanship in qathet, fosters appreciation of arts in the community, and encourages good fellowship among members. There are four departments – pottery, quilting, weaving and fibre arts, and mixed media/painting – and the facility provides a place where people from around the city and the qathet Regional District come together to learn skills through mentoring and workshops.
