Gary is an artist living in the qathet region located on the traditional territory of the Tla’amin Nation.
He spent most of his early life in southern Alberta surrounded by natural beauty. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts majoring in painting and sculpture from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Education majoring in art from the University of Lethbridge. He is also a Red Seal certified carpenter.
Gary’s mission is to draw on his life experiences, knowledge and skills, and mold them into a career as an independent artist. His efforts are mostly one of a kind furniture, sculpture, painting and drawing.
Recently, Gary has produced new paintings, wood creations, and several stone carvings utilizing Texada rock.
